The twenty-two sources we read, from the World Bank, IMF and UN agencies to ILOSTAT, FAO, Climate Watch, Ember, V-Dem, UCDP and the Global Carbon Budget, publish open data, and we pass it through with attribution and licenses intact (the full list is in the Terms). You are paying for the instrument (composition, benchmarking, attribution and disclosure), not for the public data itself.

No. Portfolios here are composite statistical indices over development, economic and health indicators. Progress is measured in index points since a base year, and the platform deliberately never uses the language of financial returns. Nothing in it constitutes investment advice.

No. The four plans above cover the indicator platform: Explorer, portfolios, custom indicators and the read-only API over that data layer. Applied tariff schedules, bilateral trade flows and tariff policy events are a separate data product with its own API, its own versioning and its own licence obligations, priced per engagement while it is in pilot. Discovery is keyless, so you can inspect coverage and freshness at data status before speaking to us.

A read-only REST API over the same unified data layer the app uses: search the indicator catalog, list countries, pull observations for any indicator and country, and retrieve your published custom indicators computed on demand, identical to the chart in the app. Sub-annual series carry the same disclosed annualization rules (or can be served at native frequency). You authenticate with API keys you create and revoke in the app; each key is shown once and stored only as a hash. Available on Pro and Enterprise.

Nothing is deleted. Everything you built stays yours: portfolios and custom indicators beyond the new plan's limit remain viewable and editable, you just can't create more until you're back within the limit. On the Free plan the Portfolio and Indicator Builder sections close entirely, but your work is preserved and reappears when you upgrade. API keys are kept too; they simply stop authenticating while your plan is below Pro.

Enterprise plans can sponsor new sources (for example OECD datasets). Onboarding includes frequency handling, where sub-annual series are annualized by disclosed, user-selectable rules, and orientation defaults reviewed with your team.
